The Ladies of Star Trek: Voyager
Jeri Lynn Ryan as Seven of Nine: Tertiary Adjunct of Uni-Matrix Zero One
Seven of Nine: Tertiary Adjunct of Uni-Matrix Zero One, is called "Seven of Nine", or just "Seven", by the crew. Annika Hansen, born at Tendara Colony on Stardate 25479 (2341), was the young seven-year-old daughter of two Federation scientists stationed on the USS Raven when it was attacked and assimilated by the Borg (Raven). Annika became Seven of Nine: Tertiary Adjunct of Unimatrix Zero One. After being severed from the Borg Collective by Captain Janeway and separated from her Borg implants by the doctor, she slowly rediscovers her humanity and begins to adapt to life on the USS Voyager. Neither fully Borg nor fully human, she emerges as a sensuous creature who is both befriended and distrusted by the crew. Captain Janeway has shown her the beauty of art and the importance of individuality and freedom. Seven is assigned to Engineering, where her knowledge of Borg technology is invaluable and where she is in constant conflict with Lieutenant Torres. Seven of Nine escapes from Voyager to follow a Borg signal on the USS Raven and in the process, helps save the crew from invisible aliens who are experimenting on them (Scientific Method).
